Program Summaries
The Raven Center For the Arts is dedicated to providing as many opportunities as possible to artists. Our Residency Programs provide emerging artists & independent artists with focused time to foster their inventive creativity. Residents use our facilities to develop and enhance their work, for intensive work production, and to foster their personal growth in a support setting.
Residency Information Artist residents are responsible for travel, food, and shipping or removing their work at the end of their stay. This is a group living experience and residents have shared kitchen and bath facilities. Dorm resident's visitors are allowed for short visits only with the agreement of other residents.
Privileges
All artist residents have ceramics studio & kiln privileges. They may attend, free of charge, most classes and workshops offered at the Raven Center for the Arts.
Fee
There is a monthly fee of $300 plus $150 deposit for Dorm residents.
Tent camping residence sites are available for $15 a day plus $50 deposit. Campers have kitchen and bathroom/shower privileges during the day hours at the Raven Center Dorm. Camping residents may bring companions-limited to 4.
Other Requirements
Artist residents are required to perform one day of volunteer service per month for the Raven Center.
