David Porter
David Porter, the director of the Raven Center, has been a professional potter since 1969. He studied Ceramic Arts at Mateo Ju. College and San Jose St. College and studied under the direction of Vince Rascon and Dr. Herbert Sanders.
Porter has taught many workshops in Colorado, Illinois and Missouri, including teaching Ceramics classes at the Anderson's Ranch in Colorado. He currently teaches at the Raven Center For the Arts as well as instructs a continuing education course in Pottery at Three Rivers Community College.
David Porter enjoys remaining physically active and visiting friends and family, as well as traveling. He continues to make pottery, selling his work at various galleries throughout the United States.
